My name is Frits Schotsman. I am a Dutchman and originally an art painter. I see life as a wonderful creative learning process in which I keep making fantastic new discoveries. Since the eighties I have been intensively engaged in spirituality and self-development. The contents of many books in the field of spirituality and applied psychology have made an intensive journey through my consciousness. Especially the ideas of “New Thought” have inspired me enormously. This practically oriented spiritual philosophy is concerned with how we can shape our lives according to our own choices with our thoughts. An important target area is mental healing of all our physical and mental disorders. Further, it is an important tool for achieving success in your life. For me this is a wonderful tool and I try to apply it as much as possible in my work and life.
Furthermore, the teachings of ” A Course in Miracles” have been a source of wise and loving inspiration for me for quite some time.
The rich spirituality of the Vedanta and Taoism inspire me again and again to descend deeper into myself and discover the beautiful jewels stored there. I am fascinated by the findings of modern science and its intersections with ancient esoteric traditions. The scientific theories of Quantum mechanics, Chaos theory and Cybernetics always seem to connect in a surprising way with what I discover and experience deep inside myself.
In addition, I have worn out a lot of NLP literature. NLP is a powerful technology for organizing your thinking for achieving optimal results in all areas of life. I took several courses in it and obtained a Master’s degree. Afterwards I worked for several years as an NLP therapist and coach in my own practice. Because I also have a master degree in Reiki I gave healings. For years I have been practicing Tai Chi and Chi Gong intensively. These are ancient Chinese energetic methods for optimal health.
The more I studied the spiritual origin of man, the more enthusiastic I became about his unlimited possibilities. I realized that what I had learned in all those years of spiritual exploration, I would like to transmit to a large audience. Therefore, around the year 2000, I began to write spiritual texts. At first hesitantly, but gradually more and more intensively. In 2008 this resulted in the self-published book The Thought Universe. In this book, a man on a walking tour on the Scottish Isle of Skye is taught by a master the unprecedented possibilities of his mind, and how he can successfully apply these in his life. The book was excellently received and continues to sell.
The manuscript of my second book The Dream Mirror was released in 2015. The Dream Mirror is an adventurous story full of events that contain deeper meaning. As a result, it contains many lessons that can help you on your life’s journey. In the story, the so-called Creation Eight is introduced. This is a symbol onto which the path of creation is ingeniously projected. When you know how to apply the simple laws that result from this in your life, then everything is possible that you desire.
Moreover, at the end of 2015, my third book The Enchantment of the Light was released. In this book I try to reveal to the reader in a simple way the essential dynamics of the creation process. The model of the Creation Eight, which I developed, is further elaborated here for practical purposes. In the process, the seven essential phases of the creation process are placed along the trajectory of an eight-form, which allows for a deeper understanding of the reader’s own creative power. In the second part of the book, I introduce a system of seven Life Arts, which correspond to the different phases of the creation process. Each Art is then treated in depth in a separate chapter. They thus form a practically oriented whole with which the reader can set to work to realize his greatest dreams.
In 2022, my book The Revelation of All That Is saw the light of day. In this book, Jonathan, the main character, takes an exciting journey across the island of Lumia. During this journey he meets a number of teachers who educate him in the noble art of creation. In the process, he discovers the deeper nature of his creative power, which lies in the fact that he is essentially God in action. Thus he learns that he himself encompasses the All That Is in all its aspects and has at his disposal all that he could wish for.
