1. The Dream
Dare to dream.
Do you know what you want in life? Do you feel that it brings you everything what you expected? Do you dare to dream freely and have confidence that your dreams will come true too. Or are you disappointed because you didn’t dare to believe in it and that life just doesn’t bring you what you would like to get? Do you belong to this latter category, then you are in for a surprise. This book may change your life completely. It’s about a whole new perspective on the creative process and how this can mean an awful lot to you. I realize this is a rather presumptuous assertion, but I can assure you that the philosophy which I unfold in this book could have very serious consequences for you, at least if you manage to apply the revealed knowledge in your life. I’ve worked for many years to develop this philosophy, and although it is very compact, it nevertheless holds the key to all the secrets for achieving a happy and successful life. That is possible for every person, and in a simpler manner than you might think, although I wouldn’t say it’s an easy process.
Your spirit does have tremendous power. It includes everything from which your world exists. Astonishing as it may seem, yet this is true, because all your mind can contain and believe always has an equivalent in the world.
To find out what you want in life, you must dare to dream. You have to give totally free rein to your imagination in order to discover exactly what you want. Only then do you get in touch with your deepest desires and can express them. Your deepest desires are stored in your mind and sometimes it requires some work to expose this area. However, by unleashing your imagination, you make it possible to tap into that field and discover what’s really of value to you. That’s dreaming about your life, and its power is that the whole range of your deepest wishes and desires is uncovered with it. By dreaming consciously and believe in the results, you give yourself the chance to make discoveries that would otherwise be impossible.
Big dreams create a great life. That is a fixed law. A dream that you cherish and care with attention is like a flower seed that is planted into the soil, and is fed every day with a rich flow of nutrient water. Eventually there will be come forth a plant from which sprout a variety of beautiful flowers.
A dream has therefore need to be looked after, but not in a forced way. That is the method used by people who don’t really believe in their dreams. To mask their disbelief for themselves they exert much pressure to produce results, and subsequently get them. However, never the results they initially had desired, but a poor substitute without any flavor. Therefore, a dream, which is supported by the power of faith, is able to realize itself effortlessly. All it needs, as already said, is a daily care in the form of attention.
If you choose this method, you will soon discover how natural the process of achieving your dreams actually is carried out. You will have encouraging signs, and meet people who can help you with what you have not well controlled. Doors will open for you in unexpected ways and a wide array of new, unprecedented opportunities will unfold right before your eyes. Pick this all up and you will know your dream is a living phenomenon that truly belongs to you.
So no one can fulfill his dreams without dreaming them extensively. You simply cannot make dreams come true while they may not be present in full extent in you. When your mind lies fallow for big dreams it means that it can receive those dreams. As already mentioned, it is then up to you to sow those dreams in the undeveloped area. Once you have done this and regularly showering it with the water of your faith, you will invariably find that they find a way to realization. This is a completely natural process.
Dreams are therefore a powerful instrument in shaping your life. Any believed dream in itself is an engine that gives your life a thrust in the direction desired by you. When you cultivate a dream you give thereby momentum to your life and you will always reap the benefits.
Therefore, dream big dreams. Learn to trust your deepest desires, because they are the motivating forces which control your dreams. Desire and dream are therefore inextricably linked. Where there is a desire, there will always be a dream to provide it with the necessary driving force. Finally, your faith will give the required power to the original desire to convert it into concrete experience.
Many people lack confidence in their dreams. That’s because they are wrong in the particular function that their desires carry with them. That function is not so coincidentally, but rooted in the very nature of the creative process. Therefore, read this book with an open mind and you will understand how important it is to follow the direction of your desires with confidence.
Sometimes, however, the consequences of this revolutionary creation philosophy don’t get through sufficiently to find a successful application in life. Should this be the case with you, know that success is always there for the person who sincerely believes in what he has learned and accepted.
Anyway, this book contains the special secret of your special power of creation. If you know this then you will immediately know how to create a life filled with happiness, wealth and success. However, to know this secret, you’ll need to demand a lot from yourself. You should work seriously with the information in this book to discover the hidden secret that is contained in it. And when you discover it you will know that absolutely everything is possible for you, and that your deepest desires are really there to be achieved.
Before we further immerse ourselves in the special creation philosophy that underlies the great mystery of creation we first make a brief stop in the next issue.
What is success?
Success is generally totally misunderstood. Most people do not know at all what its true meaning is. Yet there are many looking for it, however without knowing exactly what it is what they pursue. They have a distorted view of this and they never taste the sweet fruits that real success can deliver for them. Actually, first must be discovered what success in the deepest sense means, and then to go in from that point of view. So the question is, what is the very essence of success?
In the depth of the mind of every person lies dormant a desire for something big. Not everyone, however, allows this desire to be there. Often we feel too inhibited to truly claim this enormous power. Nevertheless, I believe it will always continue to smolder deep within us, waiting for our call to appear in the world. So it can remain untouched for long, but once we have reached the point where we no longer procrastinate, but approach it full of expectations, something wonderful will happen. Then this desire will ignite, and with all its accumulated passion burst out into a powerful and multicolored firework that everyone can enjoy.
I believe that in every human being his own specific form of desire lives, and that every human existence is meant to give expression to that in its own unique way. Deep inside you also lives such a desire that is passionately looking to flow out. When you make contact with it and manage to conduct it outward, than that will give you an immense feeling of joy and satisfaction. This bringing out of your desire, reaping the benefits, and fully enjoy it, is the true success. So, success essentially is set entirely within the sphere of your own mind. In other words, success is not an external but an inner realization.
Nevertheless, there are still many people who believe that success is the result of social recognition. They are continuously hunting for it, and when they have reached it, this applies to them as a conclusive proof of success. Yet that’s not what makes them really happy, and deep inside they know that. Their success is not rooted in that great desire by which they have come into the world, but in a hunt for outer results. That makes them slaves to their own efforts. True success is not there to be found, but in the inner experience of a realized desire. This obviously has consequences in the world, but unlike the pursuit of an outward goal these results sure lead to joy and happiness. There is no servility, because success is achieved internally.
So the question is how to make contact with this desire, and how you can bring it to an appropriate expression. The answer to this you can find in the following chapters. Constructive work with your deepest desires will be the surest way to your success. You may not be accustomed to take your deepest desires so seriously that you connect committed action to them. I can promise you though that when you do, a whole new world will open for you. Inside you the smoldering fire of your deepest desire waits for further combustion. I will help you to make contact with it, so that you will shine as it ever was meant to be. So let’s not wait any longer and quickly move to the next chapter, in which the principles of the creation philosophy, which can transform your biggest dreams into reality, is explained in detail.
2. The Philosophy of Creation.
A story of creation.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” With these inspiring words the Biblical creation story begins, describing how an omnipotent God, through his word, sets the creation of the world in motion. For millions of people this is a established fact which is unquestioned.
However, I would take you on a journey through the process of creation in which God is not the creator of the world. Will I thus argue that God doesn’t exist? No, certainly not, because for me He really does exist. More than that, I see him as the universal ground of all being that pervades everything with his presence.
Probably you are now wondering how it actually is. By means of the following creation story I want to give you an answer to that. Initially, it will perhaps occur a bit strange and unbelievable to you, but when you are willing to receive the story with an open mind, then I promise you that you will make wonderful discoveries and will get to know a force that is unparalleled. This force is so immeasurably great that entire worlds can be created and destroyed with it. And do you know, the most surprising thing about it is that you have full access to it.
Preceding the creation story first an important note. The creative process will be presented in a chronological manner to you, and therefore you might get the impression that it is a sequential process that takes place along a certain stretch of time. However, this is not the case. From a cosmic perspective, all phases of the process are occurring simultaneously. There’s only question of a time lapse during the creation of the physical Universe. Just there thinking becomes trapped in a net of space, time, matter, and physical energy. In the other creation domains these phenomena don’t exist at all. The apparent passage of time but only serves to present the creative process in an illustrative way to you. It’s important that you realize this.
Well, to my creation story now. Here too, God is at the beginning of creation. However, I don’t use the term “beginning” here to secure a specific point in time, but only to indicate a causal principle. It is used here to characterize God in his role of source.
God is thus at the beginning of creation, but at this stage he has not yet manifested. And because he has not done so his existence is completely empty and shrouded in darkness. His whole being, as it were, is concentrated in a point without any dimension. Here, however, he cherishes an unstoppable desire to experience himself in countless forms. This is, as it were, folded in in its dimensionless point. However, its pressure is so high that this point tears innerly open and so releases its concentrated energy in the form of an infinite cosmic light. God thus reveals himself as a boundless light figure that bears the name Spirit.
Although God came into being in the Spirit, he is still completely alone with himself. His desire to experience remains undiminished, but as Spirit he nevertheless lacks the ability to achieve this. An additional difficulty is that his Spirit is infinite, and therefore, every achievement will thus to be sought entirely in this spiritual domain. After all, beyond something that is infinite simply nothing can exist.
As a result, a charge is built up in the Spirit which finds no other way out than to discharge itself back into the source from which it originated. However, the charge of the desire persists and consequently is circulated time and time again. This increases the pressure enormously. This circulation continues until something will happen by which the charge can transform itself. The following image illustrates this situation.
With this image the appearance is aroused that the desire circulates outside the realm of the Spirit. In reality, however, this is not the case, but in order to make things clear the process is folded out. In the area enclosed by the circulation, the state of being of the Spirit is imagined. Furthermore, it makes clear how the with desire charged light continually is put in motion without anything changing. It always returns to its divine source.
Under the influence of the increased pressure eventually a critical point in this process is reached by which the charge overflows into a new domain with its own unique dynamics. This is continuously supplied by the Spirit with new energy. This new domain is called Mind and you can see it as an infinite force field that has its own frequency band within the domain of the Spirit. So Spirit and Mind completely penetrate each other.
The Divine Spirit is now also become Thinker and it therefore has the power of limitless imagination. This gives it the ability to transform its with desire charged light to concrete forms that can be experienced. These forms are known as thoughts.
With all this the nature of the charge of the original desire is changed completely. Where it first concerned a tempestuous energy without any possibility of expression, it has now become a force that provides the thinking with vitality. For this reason, the charge is now called inspiration, which means breathe life into.
But now we come to a critical point, because the Divine Mind does indeed have the ability to create thoughts, but must also have the ability to experience them. After all, it all started for that reason. To experience, it therefore must have a matching capability. It must have something that casts back the fruits of its thinking in such a way that they can be experienced.
Because Mind is located in the same infinite space as Spirit – and thus occupies the same place – it cannot, as we now know, go beyond there. So it is forced to create this function completely within itself, and that’s only possible by creating the illusion that a portion of its activity is located outside of itself. In order to make this possible Mind breaks from the existing cycle and opens a new cycle in which a portion of itself serves as illusory mirror for its thoughts. On this mirror, it projects its thoughts and this then casts the energy from it back again as experiences. Let’s see how matters look now.
Again, the case is flipped open to make the process clear. The illustration shows the cycle that the desire goes through as soon as thoughts and experiences are created. From the Spirit inspiring Light flows to the Mind. This transforms the light by its imagination to a thought that is projected onto the mirror as creation. This creation is then reflected as experience. The creative process is thus divided into two cycles: The original Cycle of Being in which the desire is put in motion and gets discharged, and the Cycle of Consciousness, where thoughts are projected and experienced.
Mind is both the creator and the experiencer of what it has created. The dynamic phenomenon which arises there from is called consciousness. This latter you will probably find a rather surprising statement which deserves some clarification. Often consciousness is namely seen as a spiritual phenomenon with an independent existence. In this creation story, however, this is not the case. Here, consciousness is characterized as the result of the creative activity of thinking. So this arises the moment the Mind, in his role as creator, has created something that it wants to experience. That experience can only occur if it has a receptivity to it. This receptivity is the essence of consciousness. Therefore, consciousness is not an independent phenomenon but a product of the thinking process. It always molds itself to the nature of the chosen thought. Consciousness therefore does not exist without thinking, but the reverse is also the case. Thinking would not be possible without that there is consciousness. Both qualities are locked in each other, but thinking is the initiator.
In the Mind the divine desire for experience eventually has come to life. In its domain experience takes shape. On the spiritual level will thus not occur any experience. Therefore, the mental level of Mind is used. It is because Spirit manifests itself as Mind that God can see himself reflected in many forms.
Once an experience has occurred Mind discharges its energy by letting it go completely. This then flows back again to the source from which it emerged and is again transformed into Light that is charged with desire. In this process all the embedded information is completely lost. Because every experience disappears immediately after it comes into existence, there isn’t built any kind of memory in the whole process.
The cycle just described is repeated increasingly, and thereby a steady stream of thoughts with corresponding experiences is produced. However, this state of affairs has one important limitation, which is that there’s only one thinker, and thus one point of view. God’s desire for the greatest possible variety of experiences in which he can reflect himself is however looking for greater satisfaction. This exerts great pressure on the Mind and under this influence it creates in itself a huge number of Thinkers who all inherit his original creation power. This creates an almost limitless variety of possibilities. Although all Thinkers create their own unique experiences, they are of course bound to make that happen through the same mirror. After all, they are all part of the same Mental Domain. From the dynamic interaction of all those creations so arises a collective dance on the Mirror that constantly changes in shape and character. In doing so, nothing is held and there is still no question of any kind of memory; all Thinkers live constantly in the present. This situation is depicted by the following illustration.
You can see that the Divine Mind no longer directly participates in the creation of experiences, but acts as an underlying mental force field for all individual Thinkers. These imagine each their own creations and project them as thoughts on the Mirror which reflects them again as experiences. Subsequently they let them loose again and create new experiences, which are also released after processing.
In all this, God is present in all individual Thinkers and thus experiences itself in endless variations. The process would continue endlessly, were it not that something happens that will change this wonderful creation dance dramatically. Many Thinkers namely get particularly interested in their thoughts. They become attached to certain ideas and want to hold it for future use. Therefore they don’t discharge any longer the thoughts concerned after their experience, but bring them back in circulation over and over again, with the result that the energy stagnates and accumulates in the Mirror. The vibration of the energy is thus reduced so that it condenses into physical forms. The rarefied Divine Light is solidified into matter, thus creating a physical space in which also is introduced the phenomenon of time. After all, by holding on experiences in these forms they obtain, in addition to their spatial form, also durability, and this ensures that there is a lapse of time. With all this the material Universe is born, that from then on will function as the main platform of experience.
Because the Thinkers have focused their attention primarily on the material manifestations of their thoughts the shaping activity of the Mirror is completely hidden from consciousness. Therefore, the mirror is called the subconscious, a term I will often use from now on for the Mirror. In the further course of the creative process the subconscious will reflect exactly the wishes and desires of the Thinkers and translate them into appropriate physical form. However, you should keep in mind that when I speak of the subconscious, I am not talking about a vaguely mystical phenomenon that lives a more or less autonomous life, but about the Mental Mirror which does nothing more than to flawless reflect everything that is projected on it.
The physical Universe can thus be understood as a reflection of the average effort of all Thinkers who have an affinity with it. But with this the image is not yet complete. After all, how must these Thinkers have their experiences in the material Universe without them having to reside there in one way or another? This actually happens at the same time, because once a Thinker identifies with the condensation of his thoughts, he also reduces the vibration of a large number of his thoughts automatically into a solid form through which he can descend into matter, and can participate. The Thinker’s body is thus born, and this gives him the ability to act freely on the material level. This opens up a whole new kind of experience. Initially, this still takes place on a small scale, and the bodies as well as the Universe are primitive and limited, but as the experiences extend the nature of the body changes and it becomes more complex. The material Universe too expands in the same extent that the experiences increase. This process of increasing complexity will persist as long as there are thoughts to be invested in the Universe. The following image describes the situation:
Let’s have a look at this more closely. First the Thinker receives his inspiration from the underlying mental field and creates his thoughts from it. The thoughts that he wants to retain are repeatedly projected onto the mirror. This stores the relevant thoughts and transforms them into a mass of compacted forms that exist in a given period of time. The Universe that is being built from this now serves as a stage for the experience.
In all cases, a thinker no longer wants a particular experience and succeeds in releasing its creation, the corresponding compaction dissolves again and flows as undifferentiated energy back to the Divine Source. The result will be that the Thinker in question will no longer have the corresponding experience.
The Divine desire has gone through an eight-shaped cycle and is therefore called the ‘CreationEight’. All the energy is in here, and yet it’s limitless because there are an infinite amount of manifestations possible. Through all this there are four different domains active, each with its own dimension within the creative process. Keep in mind that these domains occupy the same space and therefore penetrate each other completely. The following illustration shows this.
Let’s summarize these four domains once more:
1. First we have the Domain of the Spirit. In this God becomes self-aware in the form of Being. The Spirit is entirely permeated by light that is charged with an unstoppable desire to experience. The creation process is set in motion by this.
2. As a result of this we have the mental domain of Mind. Here the undifferentiated light energy of desire is transformed into thoughts which give rise to consciousness. Thoughts are the creative force behind all manifestations. In the Mental Domain God becomes self-aware as Thinker. By splitting his Mind split into a multitude of Thinkers God learns to know himself in innumerable experiences.
3. The domain of the Mirror handles the actual creation and is called Creative Domain. Here, the energy of experiences is stored for future use and transformed into solid forms. Although it is a completely mental function, the efficacy of it is withdrawed entirely from the sight of the thinkers. Therefore, it is usually referred to as the subconscious.
4. Finally, all this manifests itself in the material domain of space, time, matter, and physical energy. When the energy of the mind is solidified by the activity of the subconscious, then from this the physical Universe arises. This will become the main platform for the experience of the Thinkers.
The CreationEight thus comprises in concentrated form all the essential components of the process of creation. In the next chapter we will delve further into the magical world of The Thinker and we will discover what his special power all can bring about, but first we will have a closer look at him.
